Counting Board M8784
The C8855/M8784 are designed to plug directly into a
PC. There have a circuit to count logic (TTL) signals
sent from a photon counting head and then send s
these signals to the PC. Since these boards have
multiple counters, time resolved photon counting of
high-speed optical phenomena can be performed with
no dead time between gates by switching the
counters. The 32-bit counter offers a wide dynamic
range. Two types of interfaces are available for
connection to a USB (C8855) and PCI (M8784)
